Hey – how’s it going?
They say it takes a lifetime to master the bass guitar.
Well, if you’re like me you don’t have a lifetime to dedicate to it. With work, family and other commitments finding the time can be tough.
I certainly didn’t have time to swot over textbooks and lock myself in a dark room for 8 hours a day to practise. When I first started out I just wanted to get to the “good enough to play in a band and have fun” stage quickly.
So that is exactly what I did and now I teach people to do the same with my online bass guitar lessons. It’s a unique approach to learning the bass I call SpeedyBass.
Before I share that with you, I would like to give you a video bass lesson on right-hand technique. It is important to know the basics first so you build your playing on a solid foundation.
